BIO for Amanda Siegel
Hi, my name is Amanda Siegel, and I am the Special Operations Specialist for TEMA. I have been in Emergency Management now for 5 years serving as Deputy Director for Robertson County and Director for Hickman County. My passion has always been public safety as having a background in the Fire Service both volunteer and career for over 24 years. Currently in the role of Operations Section Chief (OSC) on the AHIMT with TEMA and the Region 3 Vice President for the Tennessee Association for Rescue Squads (TARS). Iām certified in multiple technical disciplines which include AEMT, SAR, Swiftwater Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Trench Rescue, Rope Rescue, and Hazardous Materials. My most recent deployments have been the response to the 2021 catastrophic flooding in Waverly, TN selected as the OSC, the Lead for COVID response in Robertson County and numerous SAR cases in and out of the state.

This will be a brief overview of what credentialing is, where the program is, how credentialing can benefit local teams, and what we are preparing for the future.
