NAUI Rescue/Advanced Rescue Scuba Diver

This is a certification course for certified scuba divers who desire to assume greater rescue capabilities during diving activities. The training emphasizes accident supervision and management with practical applications in open water. This course is designed specifically to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to help prevent diving accidents, recognize life threatening diving situations, perform or supervise in-water rescues, manage rescue operations and provide post-rescue aid.

NOTE: This is a physically demanding class. Participants will be awarded either Rescue Diver or Advanced Rescue Diver based on their physical performance and evaluation of the water skills portion of the class. There will be limited enrollment to this class based on experience.

NOTE: Open Water I is a prerequisite to any other offered advanced level scuba certifications. We will accept c-cards from all widely recognized certifying organizations (NAUI, SSI, DUI, UTD, PADI, etc..). It is highly recommended that the diver be experienced prior to taking this course.

 

The dates for this class is as follows:

• July 16-17, 2022 (TImes are 9:00 am EST to 5:00 pm EST each day)

Class costs are as follows:

• TARS Members - $375.00

• Associate Members - $425.00

• Non-Members - $475.00

 

 

These prices are per person and include facilities use and a very good location for the check out dives. In addition to this, BCRS is willing to support this effort by providing the classroom setting and will also provide room in the squads bunk room which should cut down on travel expense (up to six). Beds in bunk room are on a first come first serve basis.

 

 

This course will be certified through NAUI and c-cards will be provided.
