NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver

Open Water SCUBA Diver is our entry level certification course during which you will learn the fundamental knowledge and skills to safely scuba dive in open water.

NOTE: Basic Scuba is the pre-requisite to any other offered scuba certifications. We will accept c-cards from all widely recognized certifying organizations (NAUI, SSI, DUI, UTD, PADI, etc..)

 

The dates for this class is as follows:

• Saturday/Sunday April 27-28, 2024 (Lecture & Pool Exercises)

• Saturday/Sunday May 4-5, 2024 (Checkout Dives)

 

You must attend each day of training to be certified as a Open Water 1 (Basic) diver.

 

 

Class costs are as follows:

• TARS Members - $400.00 - Members use Coupon Code TNARS-OW1 when registering

• Associate Members - $450.00

• Non-Members - $495.00

 

 

These prices are per person and include the equipment needed, facilities use and a very good location for the check out dives. In addition to this, BCRS is willing to support this effort by providing the classroom setting and will also provide room in the squads bunk room which should cut down on travel expense (up to six). Beds in bunk room are on a first come first serve basis.

 

 

This course will be certified through NAUI and c-cards will be provided.

 

 

This is a partnership class and all registrations will go through DWU/Blount County Rescue Squad. Attendees must be registered with Brian Osgood and paid prior to attendance.
