Trench Rescue Awareness & Managing Excavation/Trench Operations
This course includes OSHA 7410 followed by Trench Rescue Awareness training to provide participants with essential knowledge for safe excavation and trenching operations. Topics include OSHA excavation requirements, trenching and excavation hazards, hazard control measures, soil analysis, and protective systems. The course also includes awareness-level trench and excavation rescue training consistent with NFPA 1006/2500. Upon completion, participants will be able to recognize excavation hazards, understand protective requirements, and manage trenching operations with an awareness of rescue considerations. Participants will receive an OSHA #7410 certificate and a Trench Rescue Awareness certificate.
Prerequisites: NONE
Minimum Age to Participate: 16 years of age or older
