Response to Lithium Battery Incidents
The four-hour course provides an in-depth overview of lithium-ion battery technologies with a specific focus on the hazards associated with their use, storage, and failure. Participants will explore the fundamental principles behind lithium-ion batteries. Through this course individuals will gain a better understanding of chemistry and design variations of lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and consumer electronics.
